Our Story
Confuoco Tuition was founded in 2004 by our director after being introduced to students who had lost their passion for music and their instruments via the traditional council educative system. He offered to help them and nurture their skills. Mr Mills’s motivational lessons rekindled the students ambitions and love for music resulting in the pair enjoying and proving hugely successful in music to this day. Our company is now educating and igniting the potential of a myriad of differently aged students in various subjects with 100% improvement and pass rates.
Our VLE
Confuoco Tuition also boasts our own online virtual learning environment developed by our company director, Mr Mills. It is a tool for teaching and learning developed by our own staff. From the VLE, we can track our students weekly practice diaries and support them with personalised comments, provide feedback on every lesson, offer fun tasks and games and email half-termly reports directly to parents. It is designed fundamentally to enhance the learning and success of every student. We are very proud to offer this free service to our students.
Our Scholarship
Confuoco Tuition is very proud to have it’s own scholarship fund. This fund is a manifestation of our foundational belief that everyone should be given the chance to learn and enjoy their chosen subject in a personalised environment. The scholarship fund acts as a support for students who struggle to finance the private tuition that is proven to enhance their learning. Our fund is sustained by proceeds from our concerts and Confuoco event. We are lucky, in addition, to have a pool of generous benefactors who take a keen interest in the education of our youth.
Our Reward System
Our students work inspiringly hard to meet their goals and we love to be able to reward them.Via our new Virtual Learning Environment, we issue Confuoco Points for impeccable attitude, commitment, practise and general performance. Our students can then access the top 10 leader board to review their progress. At the end of each half term, the top 3 point scorers win a prize, as well as acknowledgement of their achievements in their half term report. Our students get very excited at the prospect of topping the prestigious Confuoco Tuition leaderboard!
Our Concerts
Confuoco holds two annual concerts: Summer and Christmas. These provide a platform for students to practise and thrive in performance situations, displaying their skills to family, friends and a general audience. There are no auditions to be able to perform - anyone is welcome to play. We try and maintain a calm and informal atmosphere - although big cuddly characters have been known to drop in at Christmas delivering presents. All proceeds from these wonderful concerts are used to fund our Scholarship Scheme.
Our Students
We are incredibly proud of all our students. No matter what age, they inspire us as staff with their work ethics and dedication to their subjects. Our students travel from all over the county to visit us. As a teacher it is wonderful to watch students flourish and grow with their subject, gaining confidence, technique and the best they can be. There are so many who have gone on to do such wonderful things. So very proud of you all.
Our Choir
Confuoco Commnity was founded in 2012 by our director. The choir has since grown expodentially being fully inclusive, embracing the simple premise that everyone can sing. We have performed in and around the community inlcluding the Queens Jubilee as well as featured on the Village Christmas album. The choir supports the local Church with regular donations.
